This Privacy Policy explains how the PSX Swing mobile application and the website psxswing.com (together, the "Service") handle information. PSX Swing is an AI-powered market-intelligence tool for the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX). By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

We designed PSX Swing to collect as little personal information as possible.

• No account required. You can use the app without creating an account or giving us your name, phone number, or email.
• Content you submit for AI analysis. When you use AI features (for example the portfolio analyzer, chart analyzer, or AI questions), the text or images you submit — such as a portfolio screenshot or a chart photo — are sent to our servers and to our AI provider only to generate your result.
• Data stored on your device. Your watchlist, trade journal, alerts, and app settings are stored locally on your device. This data stays on your phone and is not uploaded to us unless required to deliver a feature you requested.
• Basic technical data. Like most apps, we may collect anonymous diagnostic and usage data (such as app version, device type, and crash reports) to keep the app stable and improve it.

2. How we use information

• To provide market data, AI analysis, alerts, and the other features of the app.
• To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service.
• To respond to you if you contact us for support.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the content you submit to build an advertising profile of you.

3. Market data

Market prices, indices, and related figures shown in the app are sourced from publicly available Pakistan Stock Exchange data and third-party data feeds. This data may be delayed, estimated, or occasionally inaccurate, and should not be relied upon as an official record.

4. Third-party services

To run the Service we rely on trusted third parties, including:

• AI provider (Anthropic): processes the content you submit to generate analysis.
• Hosting (Railway): runs our backend and website.
• Market-data providers: supply prices and market figures.

These providers process data only to deliver their part of the Service and under their own privacy terms.

5. Data retention

Content submitted for AI analysis is processed to produce your result and is not retained to identify you. Data stored locally on your device remains until you delete it or uninstall the app. You can clear local data at any time from within the app or by removing the app.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical measures, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, to protect information in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children

PSX Swing is intended for adults (18+) making their own decisions about financial markets. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
